Bye bye Pacifier...

This post is mostly just so we remember it : )  Ava said goodbye to her pacifier after naptime yesterday and we went to Target to pick out a new dolly for her to hug when she missed her pacifier last night.  She did much better than expected and we celebrated with cake and ice cream for breakfast (her request from the paci fairy).

Babies!

If you are reading this, you are probably aware that all three of our girls LOVE babies.  Our old babysitter Kayla had a baby two months ago and she came over this week and kindly shared with our girls.  I am pretty sure it was the best five minutes of their week : )

Easter 2013

We went to a community Easter egg hunt a few weeks before Easter

Snow and cousins!

There were nine kids six and under and a LOT of snow when we met our family in North Carolina at the end of March.  I am pretty sure a great time was had by all : ) 

 As I was adding these photos, I do want to point out that it's pretty impressive that even though not every one is smiling, all ten people (six of them six or under) are all looking the same direction, ha!

Strawberry picking

Our favorite fall pumpkin patch also has a spring strawberry patch.  Not only do they have pick your own strawberries, they have a bounce "pillow," swings, a huge slide, zip line for little kids, a small petting farm (Ava got to feed two calves and some chickens - and she loves that hat), and other outdoor activities.  Our girls had a blast!

New glasses

After a few checkups, it was determined that Emma was a little more farsighted that most children her age (she may grow out of it), but to help her see things better now, the doctor recommended that she (our always moving, no fear of anything two year old) get a pair of glasses.  Well, not only does she look GREAT in her glasses, or I should say she makes the glasses look great, she keeps them on most of the day, and has only bent them a few times, lol.
