Clydesdale Horses

As part of Carnival season in New Orleans, there are A LOT of parades - some very cool and interesting parades.  In many of the parades, the Budweiser Clydesdale horses are part of the parade.  While they are stationed in NOLA, they stay at the NOLA police mounted patrol stables - just a few miles from us.  This year, they allowed people to stop by and see and pet the horses on one of the days they were not marching.  Are girls loved them - especially our animal lover, Sophie.  Here are some pictures from our February trip to meet them. (You will notice how tall the wagon is that our girls could easily walk under it with no problem).
