Spring Harvest
This spring, we planted spinach, green beans, and potatoes. They were all in small planting pots, so while we were not expecting a bumper crop, the girls had fun planting, watering, and watching the plants grow. After about 6 weeks, while we were out back playing, we noticed the spinach had leaves big enough to eat, so we had a little snack that afternoon. Our green beans yielded about 10 beams. Not great, but the girls liked picking them. Our potatoes grew pretty good. They were small, but the variety we planted were small. Our girls had the most fun digging for these. Here are a few pictures looking for potatoes and playing in the water.
