Happy Five Month Birthday Emma & Sophie!

Wowsers! Time just keeps flying! (I know I say that on just about every age post, and I will probably say it on just about every future age post cause I just can't believe how fast it goes).  Our readers may have noticed there was no four month update - not because we didn't think about it or talk about it but our exhaustion level was at an all time high ; )  Thankfully the twins' sleep and therefore our sleep has improved!  You both smile up a storm most days and have started laughing which we LOVE to hear.  You also have stopped crying so much which makes us happy because we think you are feeling better and because mommy might now be able to retain a little sanity ; ) You are both wearing size 2 diapers and are still wearing 3 month clothing - we will see how big you are when we go to the doctor next week.  We think you are both between 13 and 14 pounds.  Sophie started rolling over a few days after your four month birthday and now rolls all over the room. The only downside to this new skill is that it makes falling asleep a little harder, because you roll over and wake yourself up = )   Emma rolled over for the first time a few weeks after that and is still working on it.  You both have found your hands and feet and they fascinate you.  You are also using those hands to grab for the toys that dangle from your gym or in front of you on the floor.  You are starting to develop your personalities and it is so much fun to watch the both of you.  Emma has started babbling up a storm and Sophie "talks" a little. Emma also has started trying to suck her thumb, which is very cute but we hope she doesn't develop the habit. We can't wait to see what the next month brings...we love you both very much!  The first two pictures are from today, the rest are from the last week.  The last picture looks like you both are thinking "Oh no, we got caught!" ~ hopefully that's not a harbinger of things to come ; )
