She's 2!

We must have blinked, because Ava turned two last Friday! Time really does fly = )  Ava, you make us smile every day with your own beautiful smile and your sweet little spirit.  You are about 25 pounds and 32 inches but we will verify that with the pediatrician in a few weeks at your two year old well visit.  You are talking up a storm and we are understanding more and more of what you are trying to tell us every day = )  You love to read books with us and have most of the ones we read to you every day memorized - you know that the quiet old lady whispers "hush" and "please don't take my sunshine away" at the end of that book.  You for some reason LOVE to read the Polar Express and know most of the pages, but you get SUPER excited when we get to the page where Santa Claus is - it's very cute and I hope you are still that excited at Christmas time ; )  You want to do EVERYTHING yourself these days - getting dressed, getting water in your cup from the refrigerator, putting you shoes on, climbing in and out of the car/your carseat, etc; unfortunately, most of these things you still need a little help with which is a neverending source of frustration for you.  But it's fun to watch you learn and grow....You also love to help Mommy and Daddy however you can: putting things in the trash, getting your sister's diapers when its changing time, wiping up messes and going to get things if you hear us need them.  I asked Daddy to grab me a purple blanket from the dryer and you ran full speed to the laundry room to grab something when you heard that - very sweet and I hope you stay that way forever.   Daddy & I (and your sisters) love you very very much!!!
